Blue Springs, Mo Family Photographer: J&T

This session was just what I needed. I spent most of the summer in the process of selling our house and buying a new one and had to cut way back on sessions. This was the first one I had in a while and it felt great to be back out shooting. It didn’t hurt that this cool kiddo and his equally cool grandma were so much fun (and super photogenic too)!

Blue Springs, Mo Child Photographer: Hadley 9 mos

She’s back! Hadley is a little bit farm girl and a little bit fashion girl and a whole lotta cute. Even though it’s a little drive, I jumped at the chance to do her 9 month session at her house. You can’t find much better scenery or props available than on a farm and I loved the roosters crowing and cows mooing in the background. The ground was still a bit wet from all of the rain we have gotten this spring, so when I did my typical belly dive to get down to her level and hopefully get a smile I came back up a bit muddy but that’s all part of the fun. Anything to get the shot. Can’t wait for your 1 year session Miss Hadley! <32013-06-18_0001.jpg

Blue Springs, Mo Wedding Photographer: N & R

What a FUN wedding. Everything from the beautiful Hotel Phillips in downtown Kansas City where the bride and her attendants got ready to the quaint and charming Avalon Cafe’ with it’s breathtaking views were amazing. Loved all of the colors and fun details right down to the shoes. Slightly stressful moment when I realized my GPS had no idea where the ceremony location was so it instead decided to take me out in the middle of nowhere and once it got me on a little gravel road informed me I had “arrived at my destination”, but I made it in plenty of time. What a wonderful day…congratulations again to the bride and groom.

Blue Springs, Mo Family Photographer: Mommy and C

Alright moms…prepare to be jealous. This 8th grader called me to schedule a “Mommy and Me” session for her mama for Mother’s Day. Is that not the SWEETEST thing ever? The only thing that was sweeter was watching them together at their session. They were both beautiful, funny, silly and a BLAST to work with. They are obviously not only mother and daughter, but also best friends and their love shines through in the gorgeous images we created together.2013-05-20_0005.jpg

Blue Springs Maternity Photographer: The “J’s”

Sometimes my clients spoil me. After this session I now expect all future clients to provide a beautiful location like this for me. Ok, just kidding, but it would be nice. How cute are they? I can’t wait to meet the new little J in the family.
