Blue Springs, Mo Wedding Photographer: Patrick Wedding

This Wedding was very different from the others I have had the honor of capturing for many reasons. It was different because the Bride and Groom planned a wonderful “picnic” themed wedding which focused more on everyone having fun than following the normal wedding traditions. It was different because of all of the unique and amazing details…from the S’mores bar, individual fruit pies, Food Truck, pontoon boats, frisbee favors…I could go on and on. It was different because instead of taking up a lot of time doing portraits and every imaginable combination of the Bride and Groom with every family member and guest, I spent my time there (as requested) capturing the realness and beauty of their day so that they could enjoy more of it and still have a wonderful keepsake of all of the moments and details to look back on. Lastly, it was different because the Bride stood next to me at my own wedding (crying) as my Maid of Honor, was with me at the Dr. appointment where I found out my first born was going to be born earlier than planned, has been my sleeping buddy (along with the 15 pillows she must sleep with) on several girl trips and is a beautiful and wonderful friend. I am so happy that she has found this kind of happiness and that I could be a part of her wonderful day. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Patrick. Love you!
