This was only my second High School Senior Session that was all or mostly done in the Studio. When Mitchell’s dad reached out to schedule his session, he made it clear that Mitchell really just wanted a simple session and didn’t need to pick out a dramatic or scenic location…the studio would be fine. It wasn’t all that long ago that the idea of doing an entire hour long session indoors would have caused me a lot of anxiety. But one of the best things I did for my business (and my clients!!!) was to learn how to use studio lighting and maximize the benefits of my little studio for just about any type of session. While I still LOVE amazing outdoor locations, I have a soft spot for the simplicity of a good studio session as well.
Although this session may have been simple, Mitchell is no “simple guy”. This smarty pants will be studying Computer Science at Northwest Missouri State. He enjoys gaming and his possible future plans include coding games. I love that he brought his letterman jacket which displayed his academic awards and I was even able to talk him into heading out across the parking lot for a bit to take advantage of an orange wall that looked great with it!
